Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a year-long celebration marking 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram by unveiling a commemorative coin and postage stamp in New Delhi. Calling Vande Mataram a timeless symbol of India’s unity, PM Modi said the milestone would inspire and energise citizens across the nation for generations to come.
