A 23-year-old future habitat homeowner shares his story to inspire young people of color in Milwaukee. The foundation that you see Milwaukee native Jimmie Lockett standing on will soon become the house he'll own at just 23 years old. When he was 22 Jimmie was approved through Habitat for Humanity to build and own his own habitat home. He decided to apply after his parents went through the same process when he was a kid. Jimmie recently teamed up with employees from a Milwaukee manufacturing company to work on his house and another habitat home.
