France protests have erupted into widespread unrest, with an estimated 550,000 people taking to the streets as demonstrations over the cost of living, public services and education turn violent. Public buildings have been set on fire, businesses looted and clashes with police reported across major French cities. In Paris, protesters clashed with police, while fires and vandalism were reported near businesses and media outlets. In Limoges, the town hall was set ablaze, while Marseille and Lyon also witnessed incidents of unrest. Reports of looting, arson and clashes emerged from several other cities. French authorities estimated around 550,000 demonstrators nationwide, while the CGT trade union put the turnout at approximately 800,000. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said around 1,200 people had been arrested and approximately 150 police officers injured. The demonstrations reflect growing frustration over rising prices, expensive fuel, education problems and concerns about declining public services. President Emmanuel Macron condemned the violence, while authorities vowed to prosecute those responsible for arson, looting and attacks on public buildings. #FranceProtests #FranceRiots #BreakingNews #FranceNews #FranceUnrest #Macron #ParisProtests #CostOfLivingCrisis #WorldNews #MassProtests #Looting #Arson #PoliceClashes #InternationalNews~HT.318~ED.420~PR.462~GR.506~VG.HM~
